Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
Find the app name (e.g., “Fantasy Showdown”) in the Active tab.
Select Remove to revoke permissions and disconnect the app from the Facebook account.
Removing the app stops future data sharing. If any data was previously stored on app servers, submit a deletion request using the steps below.
Send a deletion request by either:
Email: Privacy@FantasyShowdown.com with subject “Facebook Data Deletion” and include the Facebook App‑scoped User ID (if known) or the email/username used in the app.
Optional but helpful: include the device/platform used and the approximate date of last login to speed up verification.
- Account profile created within the app that is linked to the Facebook login.
- Personal identifiers stored by the app (e.g., app‑scoped user ID, display name, email if granted).
- Session tokens, audit logs tied to the account, and any user-generated content the account owns, unless retention is required by law, security, or dispute resolution.
- Minimal records needed to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud/abuse, or resolve disputes, retained only for the period required and then purged.
- Aggregated or de‑identified analytics that cannot reasonably be linked back to an individual.
After a valid request is received, the app will initiate deletion and respond with a confirmation code and a status link where progress can be checked.
Standard processing time: within 30 days of verification, with most requests completed much sooner. Complex cases or legal holds may extend this period; status will be updated on the tracking page.
To protect users, the app may request additional verification (for example, a signed request or re‑authentication) before processing deletion. Requests submitted by unauthorized parties will be rejected.
Once deletion is complete, data cannot be restored. To use the app again, log in with Facebook to create a new profile and grant permissions anew.
